Bishop Harris, a fearless visionary who utilizes every outlet and opportunity to evangelize the gospel, has been in the ministry for over 30 years. Bishop Harris and Abundant Life Living Word Church was one of the first to bring gospel advertisement to the secular stations by obtaining regular church spots on the Jazzy 101 FM radio station and the first church to participate in the Goodlettsville Christmas Parade. Bishop Harris has held several positions including Sunday School superintendent, youth minister, Head Chaplin of the Nashville KATS Arena League Football team, Diocesan Bishop of the Tennessee District Council of the Pentecostal Assembly of Believers, Inc., National Treasurer as well as Executive Board member of the organization.

In addition to being the Pastor and Founder of the Abundant Life Living Word Church, Bishop A. E. Harris is the President and CEO of the Abundant Life Community Outreach and Non-Profit Housing Organization, INC (ALCON). ALCON is a faith based organization divinely designed to aide, provide, promote, and address the needs and concerns of mankind. ALCONS’ purpose is to provide that which is required to meet the need of every component of the dimensional being in order to replenish lives, families, and communities. ALCON will assist in the areas necessary to develop individuals (men, women, and children alike) into productive, well-balanced, and effective individuals so that they too can establish an Abundant Life with their families and within their communities.
